Papillon Artscarves was created by artist Jule Rotenberg.  In her encaustic painting, she paints with fire!  Blocks of pigmented wax, a canvas and torch , which she wields to manipulate the wax, layer upon layer, creating depth and design and drawing the viewer into a world that is both dreamy and vividly otherworldly.  During the process of creating the painting, she allows for chance and from this she is able to  form a bridge between abstract and nature.  The floral motif emerges.
